Dearly Beloved in Christ – My St. Thomasians
Greetings to you all in the precious name of our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ.
First of all, I thank God for His abundant mercy,
grace, and faithfulness in bringing my family and me safely to New
York to begin our ministry at St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church. During
the month of May, we experienced your love, care, prayers, support,
and warm fellowship in many beautiful ways. We sincerely thank each
one of you for welcoming us into this parish family with kindness and
affection.
I would especially like to thank our office bearers, committee members,
and all parish members for your wholehearted support and cooperation.
We are truly grateful for the hard work and dedication shown in com-
pleting the renovation work of the parsonage. Thank you also for the
many ways you helped us settle down here, especially in matters such
as getting the Social Security Number, insurance, and learner’s license.
Your care and guidance have meant so much to us.
As we enter the month of June, let us continue to trust in God’s leading
in our personal lives, families, and parish ministry. This month, our
nation observes Juneteenth National Independence Day. Let us thank
God for the freedoms and opportunities we enjoy in this country and
continue to uphold the United States in our prayers, praying for peace,
justice, unity, and God’s guidance upon the nation and its leaders.
During this month, we will also prayerfully observe the Apostles’ Lent,
remembering especially the witness and ministry of St. Peter and St.
Paul. Their lives remind us of faith, sacrifice, courage, and commitment
to the Gospel. May we also grow stronger in our Christian witness and
service.
On June 21st, we will celebrate Father’s Day. We thank God for all
fathers and father figures who lovingly care for their families, support
their children, and guide them with faith and responsibility. Let us re-
member them in our prayers and express our gratitude for their sacrific-
es and love.

time together. I encourage all of you to en-
joy this special season with your loved ones. May this time bring rest,
joy, peace, and renewed strength to every family. At the same time, let
us remain connected to God and continue in prayer and worship wher-
ever we may be.
Let us also continue to remember our parish and its ministries in our
daily prayers. May we support one another in love and encourage every
member of the family, children, youth, adults, and seniors to partici-
pate actively and joyfully in the life and mission of the Church. Togeth-
er, let us move forward with faith, unity, and enthusiasm for the glory
of God.
May the Lord continue to bless our families, our parish, and all our
ministries.

Youth Fellowship
Youth fellowship will be hosting the annual youth retreat this summer
from July 17
th
to 19
th
at Sandy Cove Ministries in Maryland.
Main Speaker : Shaun Rajan.
We encourage all youth over the age of 13 to participate.
Cost : $175.
Additionally the youth fellowship is requesting donations for this
retreat. If you are able, please consider donating.

Youth Chaplain’s Corner
Glory be to the Father, the Son, and the Holy
Spirit, one true God. Amen.
Dearly Beloved in Christ,
By God's grace, we have journeyed through the
celebrations of Easter, Ascension, and Pente-
cost. During these holy days, we reflected on
Christ's victory over death, His ascension into
heaven, and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Through
worship, prayer, and service, many of us expe-
rienced spiritual renewal and a deeper connection with God.
As we begin the Apostles' Fast, we continue that journey. This Lenten
season is more than a period of being without; it is an opportunity to
follow the example of the Holy Apostles. After receiving the Holy
Spirit, they devoted themselves to Christ and boldly shared the Gospel
with the world.
As we reflect on their witness, let us ask ourselves: How am I respond-
ing to God's call? Am I growing closer to Christ and allowing Him to
shape my daily life? Does my life reflect the fruit of the Spirit or is it
driven by the flesh?
The Apostles' Fast reminds us that faith is not limited to Sundays or
special occasions. Through fasting and prayer, we learn to depend more
fully on God and draw nearer to Him. We are also called to share His
love with those around us, offering encouragement, compassion, and
support wherever we can.
The Apostles did not keep the Good News to themselves. They lived as
faithful witnesses of Christ, and we are called to do the same. Whether
in our homes, workplaces, schools, or communities, may our lives re-
flect the hope and peace that Christ has given us.
As we walk through this season together, may the Holy Spirit strength-
en us and deepen our commitment to Christ. Let us use this time to re-
new our faith, grow in holiness, and become more faithful disciples.
Let us remember the words of our Lord:
"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one
another." (John 13:35)
May this month bring us into a closer relationship with Christ and in-
spire us to follow Him more faithfully each day. God bless us all!

Authenticity Retreat
The Biblical Wellness Retreat for young adults (ages 21 and older),
centered on the theme "Authenticity," was held from May 28–31, 2026,
at Camp of the Woods in Speculator. The retreat was led by Rev. Larry
Varghese and Roshin Kochamma who provided
a holistic approach to wellness, incorporating

NERYF Fifth Sunday Holy Qurbana
We thank St. Andrew's Mar Thoma Church for graciously hosting the
NERYF Fifth Sunday Holy Qurbana on May 31, 2026. We are grateful
to Rev. Christopher Phil Daniel for celebrating the Holy Qurbana and
to Mr. Robin Varughese for sharing the message. We also extend our
sincere appreciation to all the parents, volunteers, families, and youth
who participated and contributed to making this gathering a blessed
time.

HOUSE KEEPING
1. Combined Youth Fellowship Bible Study
We will gather for Bible Study at the Youth Chaplain's Parsonage at 7:30 PM on June
17 and 24, 2026. These gatherings are designed to be under one hour and offer a time
of prayer, growth, and connection for our youth and young adults. Light refreshments
will be provided. All are encouraged to attend.
2. MTC Urban Mission
This year's Urban Mission will take place on July 18-23, 2026 in Philadelphia. It will be
a meaningful opportunity to serve, connect, and live out our faith together. Additional
details will be shared through the NERYF Instagram account.
3. Diocesan Youth Fellowship Conference (DYFC)
The DYFC will be held from Thursday to Sunday July 23-26, 2026, at Ascension Mar
Thoma Church in Philadelphia. The theme is "Corrected Not Canceled," based on He-
brews 12:5–6, with Rev. Mack Brandon as the main speaker. All youth are encouraged
